Chamber furnaces are the general-purpose workhorse of heat treatment. Material is loaded into the chamber, heated through its cycle and unloaded, which suits low to medium volumes and custom-sized parts.
We build them in rugged refractory construction or lightweight ceramic fibre construction, with heating elements chosen for the temperature and process: nichrome, silicon carbide, molybdenum disilicide or molybdenum, in wire, rod, coil or strip form. Top-opening and multi-chamber versions are made to order.

Common questions
What is a batch furnace?
A batch furnace heats one load at a time, placed in a basket or directly on the hearth, unlike a continuous furnace. It suits lower volumes and custom sizes.
