This is a sealed retort design: a vertical cylinder with a positive seal on top that keeps both heat and atmosphere inside during the cycle. The charge sits in a retort, which is heated from outside by electric elements or gas.
Atmosphere inlets allow cracked ammonia, hydrogen, LPG, methanol, argon, nitrogen and other process gases. We can also supply complete automated plants, covering temperature control, gas dissociation and dosing. For process industries the furnace can run at up to 1200 °C with pressures from 400 mm water column to 9 bar.
